We have been visiting every park in the Los Angeles area, entertaining (tiring) Camila. Her vocabulary has exploded over the last few weeks (car, hat, airplane, CaMEEEE (for Camila), lots of friends names) and we’ve been having a good time together.
We also starting potty training (which I have not been looking forward to) and it’s been pretty simple so far. Camila gets a sticker for every time she goes to the bathroom on her potty and she’s up to about 4 stickers a day now. She’s been really quite proud of herself.
My cousin’s kids and their grandmother, my Godmother and Aunt, Marcia came to visit. Everytime Camila would see her cousins she would sign “More”. They were well liked and VERY entertaining.
Crayons have become very popular, she calls them Ca Cas. I know, we have to work on that one.
Wawa (Water) is a favorite toy.
Lalas (because they’re yellow) or Nanas (Bananas) are her favorite snack.
Camila in this photo wants and is signing for her dad’s Haa (Hat). Only way we could get her to look at the camera.
She is very strong willed. Michael is taking it in stride.
She likes to explore alone (with us somewhere close by).
Camila wants to do everything we do. She also puts the earbuds from our headphones in her ears.
Books. She loves when we read her Baas (books).
A moment of introspection.
Hope we see you soon.
