We have a little train that takes families for rides near our house.
It’s one of Camila’s favorite things to do. Now that she has a brother or a sister on it’s way, I am trying to pack in as much time with her as I can before it has to be shared. (After reading this, my parents did point out that there isn’t any way I could spend more time with Camila unless I added more hours in the day.)
Camila knows I have a “baby in my belly”, but she tells me she too has a baby in her belly. Not sure if she quite understands what I’m trying to tell her but I do see her wheels turning in her head attempting to make sense of this new information.
Until the baby arrives in January, we’re going to keep riding the trains and having our time together before she becomes a big sister and I, a mother of two (Holy cow!).
